When will Percy swim?
His parents were very happy that day. They looked affectionately at Percy and imagined how would he swim on his own one day and catch his first fish.
Percy's parents took care of him. His father would go for bringing fish for the family while his mother took care of Percy.
Percy grew with time and then, he could walk on his own. But his feathers were not grown fully.
One day, his father took him and his mother for a walk near the sea-shore.Percy was very happy that day as he would be going out for the first time. He got ready soon as he put on his favorite bow that day. The family reached at the sea-shore.
Percy wondered about the limitless ocean he had seen for the first time in his life.
His father showed him how he swimmed and caught fish. Percy was fascinated to see his father's acts. He wanted to swim in the ocean. He asked his mother to teach him swimming. His mother told him that his feathers had not grown fully. They were not water proof like those of Percy's father as Percy was very small then. But Percy was determined to enter the majestic ocean. He was not aware of Ocean's power. All he knew was that he liked its blue color and his father was enjoying in it. He also wanted to enjoy the same way and maybe, catch a fish as well.
Percy's father came out of water and gave fish he had caught to his mother. Just when, they heard a splash.
Percy was not on ice. They looked into ocean. Poor Percy was struggling hard to fight with the ocean waves. His father readily jumped into the ocean and took him out of water. He placed him at his feet and went home.
After that day, Percy was terrified at even the name of Ocean. He did not want to go there.
Time passed and with it, Percy's feathers as well. He had black waterproof feathers around his back, then.
Percy's father told him that he could swim then. But Percy did not agree to learn swimming.
One day, Percy was playing ice balls with other baby Penguins near the sea-shore. He was lost in the play and did not notice that he was standing at the brink of iceberg. An ice-ball thrown by his friend hit him and he fell in the ocean.
His old fears caught him. He tried hard to swim. But this time he was strong enough to cut through waves. He safely came out of water and yes, enjoyed it too.
After that, he also learnt catching fish from his father.
